National Dyslexia Resource Centre (Library)

The Library is a specialist resource centre that contains materials on teaching, learning and assessment and current research in the field of Dyslexia and related Specific Learning Difficulties in both electronic and hard copy formats.

The Library is based in Staines-upon-Thames and is open to Guild members by appointment only. Members should use the online catalogue in the first instance to identify books they may wish to borrow. The library office is open for enquiries Monday to Friday 10.00am to 4.30pm including school holidays. Please phone before visiting to ensure staff are available to answer your enquiry.

Resources available to Guild Members

The Guild provides its members with a wealth of information relating to Dyslexia and SpLD through its online library, a single easy to access online platform that produces focused search results. This unique e-Resources Collection, covers the fields of Dyslexia and other co-occurring difficulties, through a collection of e-books, Dyslexia Review journal articles and other related media

The National Training and Resource Centre for Dyslexia also holds hardcopy books, assessment tests and journals from internationally recognised publishers in the field of Dyslexia and related areas. These may be borrowed through a postal loan service or by collection in person.
